I ate here when in London for work, after going to Dishoom the night before. It's a completely different atmosphere (quiet and relaxed), and I enjoyed the food here more. Flavors were great, ingredients fresh, and the naan was delicious, plus the service was excellent. They were celebrating one of the cook's birthdays the night I was there and the whole staff, owner, and their kids celebrated downstairs in shifts which was very cute.

Went to this restaurant as a party of 10 for a birthday celebration, it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was at max capacity. The restaurant had kindly agreed for us to bring our own cake and helpfully provided lighting of the candles when it was time to do so. We had arranged to have a tasting menu at £48pp in advance of arrival. At first I thought this was quite pricey. Once seated we were asked if we could have some pictures taken of us for their Instagram page, which we were happy to oblige. The staff were highly attentive during our sitting and were quick to accommodate our (frequent) drink requests and needs. The sitting ended up being over the 3hr mark for 8 courses. This was certainly one of the lengthier tasting menus I've experienced and whilst the food service was slow, it can be forgiven upon learning that we were the first large party to have had it and that it was a very busy Saturday evening. A slight disappointment to the evening was the Venison steak, which we had to send back due to it being, well, cold. The waiter apologised for this and removed it from the final cheque without being asked to do so. Shilpa, the chef who had prepared all of our food made an appearance to check in on the menu which was a lovely touch to end a great evening. Upon leaving the restaurant I think the tasting menu price is adequately justified, there are no doubts to the food quality and variety on offer. I would certainly revisit this restaurant again and I will do so in the near future to try the a la carte experience.

Oh. My. Hands down, one of the best dinners I have ever had. Definitely get the samosas to start, their mint chutney is INCREDIBLE. The dill & pink peppercorn salmon is a must, as well as the chana masala with saffron rice. Their garlic naan is so fresh, served warm, and the raita is perfectly seasoned. They have a fantastic cocktail menu, a decent wine list, and a lovely staff. They were so kind and helpful, but also not intrusive. A perfect balance. My daughter is right down the street, I'm sure we will be frequent fliers here.

Great experience! I am from a city in the US with a sizable Indian population, and I thought (perhaps naively), good Indian food. This restaurant is on a whole different level. Each dish was subtle and well balanced, obviously prepared with great care. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The price is also very reasonable considering the quality. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant!

Visiting my father-in-law and was seriously craving some Indian food.. he'd said he'd eaten here with his wife once before and remembered it being really tasty. Boy was he right! We ordered 6 total items off the starters and the mains sections, and couldn't have been happier. Great service, even better food. Definitely recommend.

Found this place last minute and I have to say it was great. The haddock curry was my favorite, tender fish and full of flavor. Relaxed environment and great service. Highly recommend.

Service was friendly, professional but relaxed. Our waitress was actually Italian (very nice indeed but not what I expect in my 'Indian experience'). We went on Friday evening at 22.30 and it was quiet. The food is really first class when it arrives. Not your usual Indian fair but some unusual option which were great. Really close to, if not the best Indian food I've experienced and I've eaten a lot! If you want the traditional stuff which isn't on the menu they can do it for you. Recommended if you have time to spare. This isn't fast food! They also have an extensive drinks menu with cocktails and various wines and beers. We will visit again when we are back in Fulham.

The food here is simply the best Indian I have had in ages! The food is based on the food of Mumbai and is flavourful and delicious with just enough spice that doesn't leave you reaching for some water. The starters are delicious .. the seared scallops is a favourite as is the fried chicken. The staff are attentive and friendly without being in your face Definitely worth a try!
